WES Students Excel in Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl
Spring 2024 America Answers Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl Contest
Several Wheatland Elementary 5th grade students competed in the Spring America Answers Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl Contest on Friday, April 5th. This contest is a self-scoring, computerized quiz that consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Topics range from math, geography, government, sports, spelling, science, literature, English, history, general information to just plain fun trivia. Points are earned based on time and accuracy. The Wheatland students scored a total of 902 points with 84% accuracy! They earned 2nd place in the Andover School District and 21st place out of 63 other 5th grade teams across the nation.
The 2024 America Answers team members include: Lauren P., Reed P., Akain P., Hayden S., Braxton S., Russell H., Kendall S., Annie N., Finn S., and Avery T.
