Hello, my name is Jackie Gagnon (rhymes with canyon). My role as Wheatland's K-5th grade Reading teacher is to provide additional reading support based on student needs. I work closely with your child's teacher to plan instruction to benefit your child's reading progress. I have been a teacher for 19 years and I love helping students become more confident readers. I am a graduate of Emporia State University and have my Masters from Wichita State. My husband Mark and I have three active children; Andrew 9th grade at Andover High School, Joe 8th grade at Andover Middle School and Lexi , 5th grade here at WES. We enjoy watching them participate in their many activities and spend most weekends in a gym. :) I also enjoy reading, movies and traveling to warm, sunny beaches! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have questions regarding your child's reading progress.
