Hello, my name is Jenna Sprague and I am so excited to to be a Wheatland Warrior! This is my nineteenth year teaching, and my ninth here at Wheatland Elementary.
I was raised in Gas, KS and graduated from Iola High School. I earned a bachelor's degree from Emporia State University, and a master’s degree from Baker University. I have an ESOL endorsement through Newman University. My teaching career started in Emporia, KS—three years as a fourth grade teacher and one year as a reading strategist. I then moved to Gardner, KS, where I was a fifth grade teacher for six years. Since moving to the Wichita area, I have taught fourth and fifth grade here at Wheatland.
I also co-sponsor Student Council with Mrs. Loeck. We help students plan and organize community service projects and build leadership skills. Wheatland really is a great place to be and I love getting to know as many of the students that I can. Go Warriors!
