The BCSEC consists of nine Unified School Districts in South Central Kansas. The philosophy of the Cooperative is to serve as a partner with parents, educators and administrators in providing equal educational opportunity for all students within the boundaries of the nine member school districts.
Per KSDE the standards are aligned with college and work expectations; clear, understandable and consistent, they include rigorous content and application of knowledge through high order skills.
The Center for Parent Information and Resources serves as a central resource of information and products to the community of Parent Training Information Centers and the Community Parent Resource Centers, so that they can focus their efforts on serving families of children with disabilities.
