I graduated from Cimarron High School in 1996. I then attended Garden City Communty College for 2 years before finishing my degree at Kansas State in 2001. I also received my Masters in Building Administration from Baker University in 2005.
This will be my 16th year teaching. I have been teaching in USD 385 for 3 years. This will be my first at Wheatland.
I have taught in 5 schools during my career. I started at Gardiner Elementary in Wichita, where I taught 3rd grade for 4 years. I then taught in Dodge City for 1 year before moving back to the Wichita area. Then I was in Sedgwick where I taught 4th grade for 7 years. This will be my 4th year teaching in Andover, my first 3 years were at Prairie Creek.
I married my wife Michielle in 2002. We have 2 daughters who go to school in Andover. We made the move to Andover in 2013 and it has been wonderful! We also have a black lab named Princess Jordi.
I love being with my family when I am not at school. I enjoy watching my daughters play soccer and swim. I also enjoy working out, jogging, bike riding, taking my dog on walks, etc. When I truly have free time I love to cook on my smoker, golf and watch football.
