Originally from Oklahoma, my family and I moved to Wichita five years ago. This is my 15th year of teaching. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2003. I have taught several different levels, all from 1st to 5th. This is my 5th year teaching 3rd grade and I love being at Wheatland Elementary working with such a great staff and wonderful parents.

My husband, Chris and I have been married for almost 12 years! We have two great kiddos, Tucker and Kate. Tucker has moved on to AMS but Kate is in 2nd grade. We have a 13-year-old yellow Lab named Zoie and a 5-month bunny we rescued that we named Oreo.
Our family attends NewSpring on Saturdays, and we love all that Wichita has to offer. We have come to really enjoy our east side community!
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy reading and my guilty pleasure is quilting!
